Porous core photonic crystal fibre with metal-coated central hole for terahertz applications PROJECT TITLE :Porous core photonic crystal fibre with metal-coated central hole for terahertz applicationsABSTRACT:During this study, a unique style of porous octagonal photonic crystal fibre with a metal-coated central hole is investigated and analysed within the terahertz (THz) vary. The prompt structure is analysed close to a frequency of one.0 THz by using the full vectorial finite difference technique. The results of the structure geometrical parameters and bending radius on the mode effective index, effective mode space and attenuation of the proposed design are investigated. The numerical results reveal that the effective mode area with a metal-coated central hole is smaller than that of porous core while not a metal-coated central hole by eightyp.c. Likewise, very low attenuation will be obtained as a result of of the porosity within the core region. Did you like this research project?
