Efficient Rate Allocation in Wireless Networks Under Incomplete Information PROJECT TITLE :Efficient Rate Allocation in Wireless Networks Under Incomplete InformationABSTRACT:During this technical note, we study the speed allocation problem for a generic wireless system. Assuming strategic users and incomplete data at the network aspect, we propose a unique auction mechanism that allows the network operator to efficiently conduct the task of rate allocation under incomplete information regarding the users' valuation. Central to our design is an iterative procedure that determines the right interference price, that ensures that truth-telling may be a dominant strategy for every user. The proposed strategy works for a massive family of wireless systems, together with those whose rate region are not given in closed-form. Did you like this research project?
