PROJECT TITLE :
Aging assessment of dielectric vegetable oils
ABSTRACT:
The combination of a dielectric solid (paper) and a dielectric liquid (mineral, vegetable, or silicone) is the most commonly used insulation system in power transformers as a result of of the favorable dielectric properties of those insulations and therefore the high heat capability of the oil, that allows for cooling. It is known that temperature is the most parameter in determining the aging of those insulations and, so, the lifetime of an influence transformer.
