PROJECT TITLE :
Sensorless control scheme for synchronousbuck converter - 2016
ABSTRACT:
The synchronous buck converter (SBC) with ancient pulse-width modulation has many disadvantages, like poor efficiency at light-weight masses. So, this study proposes a new management technique for the SBC that permits power switches to work with quasi-resonant valley switching in lightweight load conditions. The voltage ripple created during the capacitor charging and discharging processes is utilised to simulate an inductor current ripple, and thus the zero position of the inductor current can be emulated while not requiring a current sensor. The technique has several benefits, as well as easily engineered-in integrated circuits. A 5-V/twenty five-W SBC laboratory prototype was implemented to verify the feasibility of the proposed technology and control scheme, and therefore the experimental findings were satisfactory.
