PROJECT TITLE :
High frequency inverter topologies integratedwith the coupled inductor bridge arm - 2016
ABSTRACT:
A brand new topology of the high frequency alternating current (HFAC) inverter bridge arm is proposed that contains a coupled inductor, a switching device and a full of life clamp circuit. Based mostly on it, new single-phase and three-section inverters are proposed and their operating states are analysed together with the ancient H-bridge inverter. Multi-phase and multi-level isolated inverters are also developed using the HFAC bridge arm. Furthermore, primarily based on the proposed HFAC, a front-finish DC-DC converter is additionally developed for photovoltaic systems to demonstrate the application of the proposed HFAC converter. Simulation and experimental results from prototype converters are distributed to validate the proposed topologies that will be utilised widely in high frequency power conversion applications like induction heating and wireless power transfer.
