PROJECT TITLE :
Dual Stator Winding Induction Machine: Problems, Progress, and Future Scope
ABSTRACT:
This paper provides an summary of the topological variations of multi-winding induction machines (IMs) and drives. The study is restricted to IMs having 2 distributed windings on the stator and a brushless rotor. The mathematical modeling techniques and control algorithms accessible within the literature are highlighted. Being magnetless and brushless, a Twin Stator Winding IM is extremely reliable, maintenance free, and economic. Thus, it possesses the required potential to become a part of ac and dc microgrids. Recent analysis trend shows growth in the appliance of such generators for off-grid and grid-connected systems.
