Improved Broadband Double Ridged Horn Antenna Without Split Radiation Pattern
During this paper a Double Ridged Horn Antenna (DRHA) for 1.8 - 18 GHz frequency band and VSWR two.5:1 without split of main lobule radiation pattern at high frequencies is designed and evaluated. The results show that the proposed antenna have most gain reminiscent of commercial DRHA with volume WxLxH of 4.5cmx11cmx8cm, weight of 132g and operating during a bandwidth of one:ten.
