ABSTRACT:

This paper describes the event of a unique driver lateral management model by integrating the motive force's neuromuscular dynamics into the queuing network (QN)-based mostly driver lateral control model. Experimental results from sixteen participants in a very driving simulator show that, compared to the QN-based model, the proposed model performs higher, and its performance is nearer to that of drivers when a vehicle runs at a comparatively high speed. The proposed model not solely has the benefits of the models based mostly on a cognitive design however additionally captures the dynamic interaction between the vehicular steering system and the driver's neuromuscular system. So, it will higher represent driver lateral management and has greater worth in supporting the development of driver help systems.
