ABSTRACT:

The microgrid vision contains several aspects, and a commonly admitted one could be a portion of grid with its own suggests that of production and energy flow controls. Photovoltaic (PV) generation is geographically the most distributed means that of electricity production. In this sense, the mixing of PVs in microgrids appears natural. The intermittency of PV generation will be compensated not only by using energy storage technologies however additionally by demand-side management and exchanges with different power networks: the most grid and surrounding microgrids. Many aspects still need to be investigated in the fields of power electronics, data communications technologies (ICTs), protections, and power quality (PQ) issues, to form this association a reality.
