Electronic Quantification of Protein Biomarkers Based on Bead Aggregate Sizing
We tend to demonstrate a unique protein sensing methodology using detection of bead aggregates of different sizes in an exceedingly micro-fluidic impedance cytometer. We tend to utilize micro-fabricated coplanar electrodes at the base of our micro-channel to live the impedance. When the one beads or bead aggregates experience the electrodes, a distinction in impedance change is detected. We have a tendency to measure these signals employing a lock-in amplifier. Thanks to the distinction in impedance modification for unbound beads compared with protein-certain bead aggregates, we tend to will differentiate the 2 types from every other electronically. We tend to demonstrate proof-of-concept using streptavidin and biotin coated beads.
