PROJECT TITLE :

It's All in the Plans: Maximizing the Benefits and Minimizing the Impacts of DERs in an Integrated Grid

ABSTRACT:

Distribution planners are facing a brand new reality: the overwhelming majority of latest generation currently being connected to the grid is thru the distribution system. This ?edge? of the grid, where utilities have the smallest amount quantity of visibility and controllability, is also where most of the change is happening. The result's a brand new set of challenges related to more integrating these ever increasing levels of distributed energy resources (DERs). To meet these challenges, an integrated approach for coming up with is needed.
