PROJECT TITLE :
Power-Efficient Communication in UAV-Aided Wireless Sensor Networks - 2018
ABSTRACT:
This letter investigates a power-economical unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-primarily based wireless sensor network, where the UAV is used as a flying base station to speak with the sensor nodes (SNs) with flexible movement path. We aim at minimizing the full power consumption of the UAV with a guarantee of the specified transmission rate of SNs by jointly optimizing the SNs-UAV scheduling theme, power allocation strategy, and flight trajectory of the UAV. Because of the non-convex and mixed-integer nature of the original drawback, block coordinate good and successive convex optimization techniques are utilized to decompose it into 2 sub-issues, which leads to an efficient iterative algorithm. Numerical results show the performance gain of our proposed scheme.
