Risk Aware Query Replacement Approach for Secure Databases Performance Management
Massive quantity of information and increased demand to extract, analyze and derive data from information are impairing nowadays performance of enterprise mission-essential systems like databases. For databases, the difficult downside is to manage advanced and typically non-optimized queries executed on huge information sets stored across many tables. This generally ends up in increased question response time and loss of workers productivity. In this paper, we investigate the matter of enterprise computing resources availability. Our goal is to reduce performance degradation arising from resource intensive queries. We propose a risk aware approach that decouples the process of analyzing resource necessities of sql queries from their execution. We have a tendency to leverage XACML to control users’ requests and to observe database hundreds. This permits us to regulate obtainable resources in a very database system to computing resource desires of queries. A query can thus run in a very database if it does not severely impact the performance of the database. Otherwise, we propose to the requester a replacement question denoted what-if-question. Such query proposes results that are similar to the results of the requester’s query, is secure and provides acceptable answers when it executes without compromising the performance of the database.
