Noise and Vibration Risk Prevention Virtual Web for Ubiquitous Training


This paper describes a new Internet portal providing experimental labs for ubiquitous coaching of university engineering students in work-related risk prevention. The Internet-accessible laptop program simulates the noise and machine vibrations met in the work setting, during a series of virtual laboratories that mimic an actual laboratory and provide the corresponding calculations and plots. The most goal of this work is to supply new learning methods and methodologies to inspire students and challenge them to find out risk prevention ways for the workplace. Students can perform the virtual experiments before taking their actual laboratory categories and repeat them whenever and as often as they want. Evaluation results show the system was considered very satisfactory, with a mean student rating of eight.ninety five out of a maximum of ten. Plus getting used for academic functions, the program can be utilized in trade as a decision tool for factory staff and technicians.
