Efficient discrete Gabor transform with weighted linear combination of analysis windows

ABSTRACT:

A completely unique discrete Gabor rework (DGT) with a weighted linear combination of research windows is presented, which will utilise the optimal weights to alter the shape and width of the combined analysis window so as to boost the time–frequency resolution of the Gabor spectrum. The optimal weights will be solved by minimising the target operate with the mixed ℓone and ℓtwo norms of the DGT coefficients, which ends up in the most time–frequency concentration of energy on the time–frequency plane, or equivalently, the optimal time–frequency resolution. Experimental results show that the proposed DGT is highly effective in time–frequency analysis.
