Binary search algorithm for adaptive impedance matching network

ABSTRACT:

A unique style strategy for adaptive impedance matching network that consists of 2 tunable components is presented. The input resistance is controlled by the first tunable component and freelance of the second tunable element. Additionally, the proposed ways ensure that the input resistance is proportional to the first tunable part and input reactance is proportional to the second tunable element. Thus, the binary search algorithm is utilized to calibrate the tunable matching network. In contrast to the one-step methodology, the convergence speed is improved from O(N) to O(log N).
