PROJECT TITLE :

Downlink training scheme for massive MIMO systems

ABSTRACT:

A completely unique downlink coaching theme is proposed for time-division duplex huge MIMO systems. Different from conventional solutions, together with the cell-specific reference signal in LTE, the UE-specific reference signal in LTE-A and also the commonly used technique without the downlink coaching sequence, the cell-specific demodulation reference signal is proposed by utilising the inherent asymptotic orthogonality, that is shared by all users at intervals one cell and used for the estimation of effective channel coefficients. The training overhead is reduced and also the downlink spectral potency can be improved significantly.
