An Efficient Solution for the Transient Electromagnetic Scattering From a Conductor Coated by Multilayer Thin Materials
An economical multilayer thin dielectric sheet (TDS) formulation based on the marching-on-in-time (MOT) solver is proposed for the analysis of transient electromagnetic scattering from a conductor coated by multilayer skinny materials. Like its frequency domain counterpart, all the sources in the skinny dielectric coatings are represented within the terms of current densities on PEC surface. The proposed method can reduce the number of unknowns significantly whereas affordable accuracy will be achieved. Many numerical examples are presented to demonstrate the accuracy and stability of the proposed technique.
