Calculation of the Phase-Angle-Jump for Voltage Dips in Three-Phase Systems
The section-angle-jump is outlined in this paper as another single-event characteristic of voltage dips, besides residual or characteristic voltage and length. This paper proposes and compares six ways to calculate the phase-angle-jump for measured voltage dips in a three-section system. This paper conjointly studies the main points of the calculation: correcting frequency and transition segments. The six proposed strategies are applied to 235 sets of measured voltage dips and a statistical comparison has been made. It is counseled that 2 of the methods be included in IEEE Commonplace 1564 and IEC 6100zero-four-30.
