Electric wheelchair control using head pose free eye-gaze tracker

ABSTRACT :

Presented is a wheelchair management employing a head pose free eye-gaze estimation. The direction of the wheelchair is computed from a user's eye-gaze pointing. The eye-gaze estimation system includes a 3D orientation sensor to take into consideration the pinnacle cause. So, the user will change his or her create with comfort throughout navigation. In experiments, its performance was evaluated as compared with a manual keyboard management.
