PROJECT TITLE :

A Solid-State Thin-Film Incandescent Light-Emitting Device

ABSTRACT:

A brand new kind of solid-state thin-film white light-weight-emitting device has been reviewed and mentioned. Light-weight is emitted because of thermal excitation of the nano-sized conductive paths formed when the dielectric breakdown of the amorphous metal oxide skinny film deposited on a silicon wafer. The mechanism of light emission, optical characteristics, reliability, driving strategies, and efficiency are discussed. The whole device is made of the IC-compatible materials and method.
