Limited Feedback Precoder Design for Spatial Modulation in MIMO Systems

ABSTRACT:

We tend to investigate the restricted feedback precoding for spatial modulation in multiple-input multiple-output systems via using the codebook. To enhance bit error rate, we have a tendency to propose a codebook style which iteratively trains the codebook by two criteria. The primary criterion is to partition the coaching set by assigning the simplest codeword to each coaching image; the second criterion is to optimize the codewords according to the assigned coaching symbols. Simulation results show that the proposed codebook style will effectively improve the SM-MIMO systems with little overhead.
