Adaptive interference cancelation using a pair of magnetometers

ABSTRACT:

We tend to propose a technique for adaptively canceling magnetic interference employing a pair of magnetometers that is particularly effective for a time-varying interference with an unknown signature. By canceling the interference, the proposed technique allows the recovery of the ambient geomagnetic field. Computer simulations and experiments with manipulated real-world data support the theoretical analysis and in combination with alternative techniques (e.g., calibration), pave the manner for magnetic measurements in orbit using boomless CubeSats.
