PROJECT TITLE :
Impact Time and Angle Guidance With Sliding Mode Control
ABSTRACT :
A completely unique sliding mode-based mostly impact time and angle steering law for partaking a trendy warfare ship is presented in this paper. In order to satisfy the impact time and angle constraints, a line-of-sight rate shaping method is introduced. This shaping method leads to a tuning parameter that may be used to form a line-of-sight rate profile to satisfy the final time and heading angle necessities and to yield acceptable traditional acceleration values. So as to trace the specified line-of-sight rate profile in the presence of uncertainties, a unique strong second-order sliding mode control law is developed using a backstepping concept. Because of the robustness of the control law, it will be applied to many realistic engagement situations that include uncertainties such as target motion. Numerical simulations with different warship engagements are presented to illustrate the potential of the developed methodology.
