A Review on Recent Development of Spacecraft Attitude Fault Tolerant Control System
Motivated by many accidents, angle management of a spacecraft subject to faults/failures has gained considerable attention in an exceedingly wider range of aerospace engineering and academic communities. This paper is worried with industrial practices and theoretical approaches for fault tolerant management (FTC) and fault detection and diagnosis (FDD) in spacecraft angle management system. An overview on recent development of spacecraft angle FTC system style is presented. The basis of a FTC system is introduced. The existing engineering FTC techniques and theoretical methodologies, together with their advantages and downsides, are discussed. Moreover, closely related to the reliability-relevant issues, recent progress in attitude FTC style strategies is reviewed. A brief review of some open issues in the final area of spacecraft angle control design subject to parts faults/failures is further concluded.
