Discrete Signaling for Non-Coherent, Single-Antenna, Rayleigh Block-Fading Channels
Discrete signaling schemes are proposed for non-coherent, single-antenna, Rayleigh block-fading channels (RBFCs). The schemes are impressed by the capability-achieving distribution. A nested Monte-Carlo technique is developed to compute the mutual information across the RBFC. Mutual info curves are presented and compared with alternative signaling schemes proposed within the literature.
