Construction of Space/Wavelength/Time Spread Optical Code with Large Family Size
Using 2 sorts of combinatorial styles, specifically orthogonal array and r-easy matrix, as building blocks, a completely unique construction for three-dimensional single-pulse-per-plane codes (3-D SPPCs), spreading over area, wavelength and time, is presented. The new construction is a lot of versatile than existing constructions. In the literature, previously presented constructions of 3-D SPPCs have most Hamming cross-correlation equal to one. The new constructions will have maximal Hamming cross-correlation larger than or equal to at least one. By comparing with an upper sure on the amount of codewords, it is shown that some of the three-D SPPCs obtained by this construction are asymptotically optimal.
