Blind Multiuser Localization in Cognitive Radio Networks
Source localization enables a network of homogeneous receivers monitoring the radio frequency spectrum to assign distinctive labels to trace heterogeneous emitters. When multiple emitters transmit simultaneously on the same frequency, it is desirable for network-primarily based geolocation to take place without prior information of the emitters' waveform, bandwidth and/or timing info. During this letter we have a tendency to describe a simple technique to associate multiple detections on the identical frequency to geolocate emitters by probabilistically combining angle-of-arrival and signal strength information, and demonstrate its performance underneath varying channel conditions.
