A Multisensor Implant for Continuous Monitoring of Intracranial Pressure Dynamics

ABSTRACT:

In humans, intracranial pressure (ICP) isn't only influenced by pathology, but additionally by orientation in house and body movements. Thus, it's proposed to live ICP dynamics and body acceleration simultaneously. An algorithm for acceleration analysis was developed to observe orientation in space and permit additional correct examination of ICP dynamics throughout quiet periods.
