5.8-GHz Stacked Differential Rectenna Suitable for Large-Scale Rectenna Arrays With DC Connection


During this communication, a unique stacked differential rectenna is proposed and its characteristics are experimentally investigated. The proposed rectenna can effectively convert RF power to dc thanks to its differential operation. The conversion potency of forty four.1percent was obtained when the received power density was as low as $0.041,text W/text m^2$. The proposed rectenna can simply achieve giant-scale rectenna arrays effectively using its simple structure. The rectenna array with DC association provides nearly the identical conversion efficiency and incident angle characteristics as compared with one rectenna.
