PROJECT TITLE :

Design of a Wideband Dual-Polarization Full-Corporate Waveguide Feed Antenna Array

ABSTRACT:

A wideband and twin-polarization antenna array with high efficiency and high isolation is proposed. So as to attain the specified performance, a wideband radiating element and a full-company waveguide feed network are employed in the look. In explicit, -plane waveguides are utilised for the feed-network configuration therefore as to suppress wave leakage between adjacent layers when the antenna is fabricated via typical machining techniques. The operational mechanism is presented and a antenna array is tested for verification. Experimental results show that the bandwidths of for each of the polarizations are regarding seventeen.1% (12.45–fourteen.seventy eight GHz) and the isolation between the two polarization ports is better than 39.5 dB. Also, more than 70% antenna efficiency with beyond twenty nine.4 dBi gain is achieved over the operational bandwidth.
