Fast Prototyping of Near-Field Antennas for Magnetic Resonance Imaging by Using MoM Simulations and 3D Printing Technology


??????Close to-field antennas are critical to the performance of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Unlike standard antennas&#thirteen; designed for much-field radiation, there are rather strict geometric requirements, like conformity and symmetry.
We have a tendency to present a quick-prototyping approach that mixes accurate electromagnetic simulation and three-D printing technology,&#thirteen; so as to fulfill the planning necessities. A distinctive feature of this approach is the precise translation of coil&#thirteen; model in electromagnetic simulations to mechanical style which will be manufactured directly by 3-D printing. Two
examples are given to demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of this approach.
