PROJECT TITLE :

Computational Electromagnetics: Commercial State-of-the-Art and Scientific Roadmaps [EurAAP Corner]

ABSTRACT:

The session of the EurAAP Operating Group on Software convened at EuCAP last year ought to be considered a startup event. It was the primary time that the working group established extremely shut cooperation with software vendors in a mutual effort. The goal was to debate the future of computational electromagnetics. This year, the immediate goal was to organize a session - with time reserved for discussion - between the antennas and propagation software and style analysis community, on the one hand, and the software vendors, on the other hand. The concept was to fi gure out whether it'd be doable to determine a quite common roadmap, by mutual consent, for the any development and use of numerical techniques and software tools. It's obvious that the input for this roadmap should partially come from the antennas-and-propagation software and designer community, since they're the fi nal “customers” of the software.
