Flexible and Robust Transmission for Physical Layer Signaling of ATSC 3.0


The physical layer [layer-1 (L1)] signaling (L1 signaling) of Advanced Tv Systems Committee (ATSC) is studied. Within the new digital broadcasting system, ATSC three.0, L1 signaling is meant to be more economical however still robust compared with preceding standards like DVB-T2. We tend to introduce the error protection theme of ATSC 3.0 well. Especially advanced strategies newly employed in ATSC are investigated regarding its purpose and profit compared to standard DVB-T2.
