Visual Analysis and Dissemination of Scientific Literature Collections with SurVis


Bibliographic knowledge such as collections of scientific articles and citation networks have been studied extensively in information visualization and visual analytics analysis. Powerful systems are built to support various sorts of bibliographic analysis, however they need some coaching and can not be used to disseminate the insights gained. In contrast, we centered on developing a more accessible visual analytics system, referred to as SurVis, that is prepared to disseminate a fastidiously surveyed literature collection. The authors of a survey might use our Net-based mostly system to structure and analyze their literature database. Later, readers of the survey can acquire an outline, quickly retrieve specific publications, and reproduce or extend the initial bibliographic analysis. Our system employs a collection of selectors that enable users to filter and browse the literature assortment with to control interactive visualizations. Agreement to the selector is represented by word-sized sparkline visualizations seamlessly integrated into the user interface.
