Three-dimensional target motion analysis using azimuth/elevation angles

We have a tendency to present new closed-form and low-complexity solutions for the 3-dimensional (3D) target motion analysis drawback using azimuth/elevation angles. A 3D pseudolinear estimator (PLE) is developed primarily based on an approximation of the most chance (ML) cost operate. Drawing on a massive-sample bias analysis, a bias-compensated PLE is made. The concept of instrumental variables (IV) is utilized to derive an asymptotically unbiased estimator. Finally a weighted IV estimator is developed to attain an estimation performance shut to the ML estimator (MLE).
