ABSTRACT:

Wireless broadcast is a good approach to disseminate information to a variety of users. To offer secure access to knowledge in wireless broadcast services, symmetric key-based encryption is employed to ensure that solely users who own the valid keys can decrypt the information. Relating to various subscriptions, an economical key management to distribute and change keys is in nice demand for access control in broadcast services. In this paper, we tend to propose an economical key management scheme (particularly KTR) to handle key distribution with relating to too complex subscription choices and user activities. KTR has the following benefits. First, it supports all subscription activities in wireless broadcast services. Second, in KTR, a user solely needs to carry one set of keys for all subscribed programs, instead of separate sets of keys for every program. Third, KTR identifies the minimum set of keys that has got to be changed to confirm broadcast security.
